Lisianthus

I’ve been standing in my place on this big stage,
With her by my side, a harmonious bond,
Excitedly I pulled the curtain aside,
Greeted with applause, hearty and loud.
My heart is satisfied, I don’t want anymore,
In this performance, the short dances happily,
A short dialogue paints the canvas of our story,
A lively stage, decorated with crayon elegance.
For in my hand, the lisianthus I gave,
Not just mere dandelions, but dense blooms,
There are no Shakespeare plays, Romeo and Juliet,
I hope to live with your Mona Lisa smile.
With her, this stage finds a new life,
Silver ring, steadfast promise,
When I choose it, swear it in precious metal,
To decorate this stage, the pages of our endless story.
